Former Tennessee women's basketball player Rae Burrell started and played 36 minutes for the Sparks. She totaled 22 points, four assists, three rebounds, and one steal. Burrell converted 9-of-15 field goal attempts, 2-of-3 three-point attempts and 2-of-3 free throw attempts.

Nneka Ogwumike scored 24 points, while Dearica Hamby totaled 21 points for Los Angeles. The Fever's Kelsey Mitchell led all scorers with 29 points, while Lexie Hall recorded 14 points and Caitlin Clark scored nine points.
Los Angeles will next play Friday versus Chicago. Tipoff is slated for 10 p.m. EDT.
Burrell played at Tennessee from 2018-22. She appeared in 110 games, including 47 starts, and averaged 10.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 22.6 minutes per contest. At Tennessee, Burrell was named to the 2021-22 USA TODAY Preseason All-America Third Team.
She was selected by Los Angeles in the first round of the 2022 WNBA draft (No. 9 overall).
