6 standouts on Day 6 of Raiders training camp

Training camp continues in Las Vegas as the Raiders prepare for the 2026 season. And today was the second day in pads, making for some really good looks at the competitions that are occurring. Here are the standouts on the day as I saw them.
DT Tonka Hemingway
The talk of camp for his consistent presence with the first team, the second-year defensive tackle had his first shot today at proving his worth one-on-one with the offensive linemen. And he dominated. Jackson Powers-Johnson stood him up on one of the first drills, but the next time they faced off, Tonka drove JPJ b ack into the backfield. Then Tonka tossed Caleb Rogers out of the way to get into the backfield. And, just for good measure, he would get the better of JPJ two more times as well.

DE Keyron Crawford
Crawford showed up well in one-on-ones too. He got around Trey Zuhn at right tackle and then did the same to Charles Grant on the left side.
LT Kolton Miller
When he lines up against anyone, he shows just how dominant he is. How he easily keeps all comers from getting the better of him. The Raiders need something approaching that level of play from one of the guard spots as well as the other tackle spot.
LB Quay Walker
On consecutive plays in team sessions, he was there to make the stop at or behind the line. First stuffing Ashton Jeanty up the middle, then chasing down Dylan Laube on a run out right to stop him for a loss.
WR Malik Benson
Benson had a fantastic day five and kept it going today, making the standouts two days in a row. He caught a pass from Fernando Mendoza on a quick slant on one play and then got a step on Jermod McCoy for a long catch up the right sideline. A bit later he broke wide open on a crossing route on the left side for a huge gain.
CB DeCamerion Richardson
Another consecutive days standout. Richardson got started early in red zone drills, when he stuck on Tre Tucker on a pass to the pylon to hit him right as the ball arrived and knock it out. He had another pass breakup in seven-on-sevens. The guy many were leaving for dead has been making a strong case of late and he's getting first team work to show for it.
