The Los Angeles Dodgers are nowhere near full strength, but there’s still a strong belief that the team will be ready for the postseason.

The Dodgers' most notable injuries have come from their pitchers, and the rotation would be in rough shape if it wasn’t for the addition of Tarik Skubal. The trade for Skubal helps lessen the blow of the current six-game losing streak, losing back-to-back series to the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs.
The Dodgers will also be asked to navigate the rest of the regular season with injuries to its top two catchers.
Manager Dave Roberts and the Dodgers will have just under two months to get the team fully healthy for another postseason run and continue their quest for a three-peat.

Shohei Ohtani injury update
Ohtani remains out of the rotation for the foreseeable future as he continues to deal with an ongoing knee issue that has kept him off the mound since before the All-Star Game.
The Dodgers stated that Ohtani’s knee was the reason he’s not pitching, but another injury came to light at the end of July when Ohtani mentioned that he's dealing with right biceps discomfort as well.
Ohtani has continued to play as a designated hitter for Los Angeles, going 3-for-5 with two runs, three RBI and two home runs in a 7-6 loss to the Cubs on Wednesday, August 5.
Will Blake Snell pitch next week?
Blake Snell is making his way back from an elbow injury and recently participated in a minor league rehab assignment for the organization's Triple-A affiliate.
He pitched 3 ⅔ innings on August 4. He struck out three in 73 pitches (41 strikes) but allowed five hits, two home runs and four walks during the outing. The left-handed pitcher is in line to make his next start barring any setbacks. He's expected to join the Dodgers' rotation next week.
When will Tyler Glasnow return to rotation?
Glasnow had been dealing with back spasms since May but is now slowly making his way back with a rehab assignment.
He threw two scoreless innings for the Dodgers' Class-A affiliate, the Ontario Tower Buzzers, on Tuesday, August 4.
The right-handed pitcher is not expected to return to the Dodgers' rotation until September. He threw 16 pitches to record the six outs.
What’s the status of Will Klein?
Klein has bone chips in his elbow, but it remains unclear whether the pitcher will undergo surgery or recover through rest and physical therapy.
Is Will Smith close to a return for Dodgers?
Dodgers primary catcher Will Smith took a positive step forward in his recovery to start the month. Smith has been dealing with an inflamed disc in his neck that’s kept him out of major league action for the past month. Smith likely won't be back until September but could be tasked with a rehab assignment during that time before he is activated for a return.
Latest on Dalton Rushing
Roberts confirmed that Dalton Rushing had an MRI that revealed he had a UCL tear. While there's hope he can avoid surgery for the injury, the catcher is expected to miss some time.
