Only Quinton Martin Until Penn State Football

We are 25 days away from the return of Penn State football. One of the potential breakout players on the season? #25 Quinton Martin, who’s headed into his third year with the Nittany Lions. He spent the last two seasons backing up Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen, which as it turned out, wasn’t all that fruitful for actual opportunities. Martin, a former top 100 prospect, actually didn’t have a carry on the season last year until the Pinstripe Bowl. There though, Martin produced, finishing the day with 103 yards on 20 carries.

Martin now has a real opportunity for carries, as he figures to be a part of the running back committee alongside Carson Hansen and James Peoples. Where he falls in that committee remains to be seen, but for the first time in his career, getting the ball and getting some touches should be a real expectation.
