Trio of Dolly Parton dolls capture country music icon's 'unique style'

Just three weeks after the death of country music queen Dolly Parton, the “beloved” singer-songwriter is being commemorated with a trio of new collectible Dolly Dolls from Integrity Toys.
The Dolly Dolls project was something the iconic entertainer-philanthropist had been working on for more than a year and the latest series marks a new chapter in a long history of Dolly-inspired dolls, dating back to the 1970s.
Carol Roth, who helped manage the collaboration for Integrity Toys, said in a statement: “There is no celebrity who is more beloved than Dolly Parton. She is not only a global pop culture icon, entertainer, fashionista and philanthropist, but she is an ambassador to being beautiful inside and out. It is the Integrity Toys team’s complete honor and privilege to have worked with Dolly and her incredible, thoughtful team on carefully crafting a museum-worthy, beautiful tribute in doll-size that captures Dolly’s essence and unique style.”
These first three Dolly Dolls feature Parton recreated in 12-inch scale, with a vinyl, poseable body, and the outfits are all based on looks from Dolly’s personal fashion archive featured in Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville, Tenn., that is scheduled to open on Sept. 29.
The very first song Parton wrote when she was a little girl was about a doll her mother made for her out of a corn cob with corn silk hair, titled Little Tiny Tassel Top .
Parton said she’s come ‘a long way’ since her humble beginnings
“I have come a long way from that cabin in Locust Ridge, Tennessee, but I am still the same girl of many colors that I was then,” says Parton on the dolls’ packaging.
“I am so excited to have my newest tiny tassel top to share with all of you. Her corn silk colored hair has come a long, long way too! Integrity Toys, along with my archive team, has lovingly created a beautiful collection of brand new Dolly Dolls. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.”
There’s The Dreamin’ in Gingham Dolly Doll ($165 US), which includes a blinged-out custom-designed guitar; The World on Fire Dolly Doll ($175 US) with fashion that recalls what Dolly wore to the 2023 ACM awards with a mic stand and a detachable wireless mic; and The Diamond in a Rhinestone Dolly Doll ($185 US) which is only available in person at Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum and matches a look featured in the museum.
The Dreamin’ in Gingham and World on Fire Dolly Dolls are also available at Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum online store and in the Museum store.
Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum is the most comprehensive exhibition dedicated to the life and career of Parton and spans more than 20,000 square feet and is located on the third floor of Dolly Parton’s SongTeller Hotel, which had a soft opening on Sept. 14.
Parton died at the age of 80 on Aug. 25 at the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center in Nashville following a brief battle with cancer.
