The flyweight division continues to get depth after Marcos Degli made a strong UFC contract case on Tuesday at Dana White's Contender Series 93.

Degli (15-3) a former LFA flyweight champion, finished Paris Moran (14-4) with a standing rear-naked choke at the 4:55 mark of Round 2 at Meta APEX in Las Vegas. The result extended the 26-year-old's winning streak to 13 consecutive fights.

After the fight, Brazil's Degli said he hopes to get the opportunity to show more under the UFC banner.
"I don't just do knockouts, I want to show people that I can submit people," Degli told Laura Sanko through an interpreter in his post-fight interview.
