Luka Doncic has made winning championships his central goal with the Los Angeles Lakers, saying he will not be satisfied until he helps the franchise add more titles. In a personal essay titled “To Win It All: On Basketball and Belonging,” Doncic reflected on his arrival in Los Angeles and explained what wearing the Lakers’ purple and gold now means to him. “I’m not sure that I ever could have imagined being here and wearing the purple and gold. It’s a wonderful surprise and it feels amazing and now I desperately want what all Lakers want. To win it all,” Doncic wrote. “I won’t rest until we win more championships.”
