The club have done well not only from a sporting perspective but also financially, with merchandise sales emerging as a key economic lever, largely on account of their success and the excellent kits Nike has produced in recent years.
Now, eyes are already on the kit design for next season, with Barcelona expected to come out with another sharp offering.
Leaked design for next season’s kit
According to the popular X account memorabilia1899.co, the image of what Barcelona’s home kit could look like for the 2027-28 campaign has already surfaced.
The leaked design suggests Barcelona will return to a more classic, vintage look. The famous Blaugrana stripes would reappear in a more traditional colour, but thinner this time, running across the front, back and sleeves.
That would mark a departure from the gradient styles seen in recent seasons.
The collar, meanwhile, would be finished in a polo style, featuring one darker and one lighter shade of blue.
The shorts are expected to remain dark blue, but with a golden vertical line down the sides and a maroon finish, while the socks would swap the current full-blue look for a more classic design with horizontal Barcelona stripes.
In short, the mockup points towards a distinctly retro aesthetic for Barcelona next season.

Barcelona’s kits have proven hugely popular in recent years, both aesthetically and commercially, playing a notable role in the club’s merchandise revenue.
Next season is going to be more important than ever. Accounts have shown already that BLM is a key economic lever for the club and shirt sales are central to their revenue.
A new kit is going to go a long way in further enhancing those sales numbers, especially if the Catalans end up winning the UEFA Champions League this season.
The club will also bank on Lamine Yamal to win his first Ballon d’Or title, knowing the youngster is one of the most popular players in world football at the moment, already generating immense sales.
