Zay Flowers spent the past week battling a hamstring injury in practice, but the Baltimore Ravens star wide receiver should suit up for Week 4’s battle against the Tennessee Titans. A first-round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Boston College product immediately established a rapport with quarterback Lamar Jackson. Back in 2023, the rookie finished his inaugural campaign with an impressive 77 receptions for 858 yards and five touchdowns. He’s only improved since then and has been the unquestioned leader of the passing attack under new head coach Jesse Minter.

While he missed Week 2 with an injury, the wideout has appeared in two games thus far and recorded 10 receptions for 234 yards and one touchdown. He’s clearly the best wide receiver on the team and Lamar Jackson’s go-to target, and while he is officially questionable for Week 4, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport expects him to play. While the team has yet to officially release their inactives, the NFL insider says that Flowers “is expected to play today.”

It goes without saying that having Zay Flowers on the field is huge for the Baltimore Ravens. The two-time Pro Bowler is unquestionably the top weapon in this passing attack, and he’s arguably the most important player on the team not named Lamar Jackson. However, they may not need his help to defeat the Tennessee Titans. Head coach Robert Saleh has yet to bring more life into this organization, and former first-overall pick Cam Ward has not made the Year 2 leap.
At 0-3, this team looks like one of the worst in the league, and Baltimore should win this game comfortably. There is no such thing as an easy win in the NFL, and unforeseen upsets happen all the time. However, if this game goes according to plan and gets out of hand early, don’t be surprised if the Ravens pull Zay Flowers and eliminate the risk of re-injury when the game’s outcome is already decided.
