Going into the game, Cincinnati had a 3-2 record. Chase and the squad yearn to get back to the playoffs after last appearing in 2022. Boasting health on offense, their ceiling looks better than it has been in past seasons.

Chase reflected on the offense’s return to form after the game, revealing what he said to his teammates in the locker room during the halftime break.
“I came in here screaming: somebody’s got to make a play for us,” Chase said, per reporter Jeremy Rauch.
Taylor reacted to those comments during his press conference on Monday, per reporter Jaron May. Safe to say the head coach heavily supported the star receiver’s actions.
“He knew what he was doing and he challenged everyone the right way,” Taylor said.
