The Falcons have officially ruled out two players for Sunday’s divisional game against the Panthers: quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and corner Billy Bowman Jr. Interestingly enough for both, they practiced fully in Friday’s practice. Also, quarterback Tua Tagovailoa did not practice on Friday and is being ruled as doubtful to play. It’s being reported Friday that Cooper Rush will start for the Falcons, again.

Another thing to keep an eye on is corner A.J. Terrell was a full participant in Thursday’s practice, but was downgraded to not practicing and questionable to play on Friday. All-Pro guard Chris Lindstrom practiced fully on Friday, but is questionable to play as he comes back from a concussion.

For the Panthers, their injury report remained light on Friday. Their very underrated receiver Jalen Coker was upgraded to a full participant on Friday as he deals with an ankle issue. Defensive tackle Bobby Brown III, however, has been ruled out against the Falcons, as he deals with a back injury.
