Jonathan Aranda's solo homer was the game's only run and Rays starter Drew Rasmussen took a no-hitter into the eighth inning as Tampa Bay took the all-important Game 1 on Saturday.

Likely AL Cy Young winner Cam Schlittler takes the mound for the Yankees in Game 2 coming off his scoreless outing with 10 strikeouts in the first game of the AL wild card series against the Boston Red Sox, the second year in a row he dominated the rivals in the postseason. Freddy Peralta starts for the Rays in Game 2 after going 5-2 with a 3.25 ERA following a trade deadline deal with the Mets.

Yankees players were able to spend the off day working out at the team's spring training facility in Tampa and manager Aaron Boone didn't have any updates on the status of MVP Aaron Judge, who was left off the ALDS roster as he continues making his way back from injuries.
